Complaints procedure

We do our best to give you good care. If something does go wrong, we would like to know. Our complaints procedure follows the Wkkgz (Healthcare Quality, Complaints and Disputes Act).
This is an English translation for your convenience. The Dutch version is legally binding: if the two differ, the Dutch text applies.

How it works

  1. Discuss it with us

A complaint is first dealt with by the staff member concerned, together with their manager. This often resolves it.
  2. Submit your complaint

By email to klachtenfunctionaris@adhdmc.nl. You can do this up to one year after the event.
  3. An independent complaints officer

We can bring in an external, independent complaints officer to help you.
  4. You receive an answer within six weeks

You will receive a written outcome within six weeks at the latest. This period can be extended once by a maximum of four weeks.
  5. Not satisfied with the outcome?

What to include

  • Your name and contact details.
  • What happened, and when.
  • If you wish, a proposal for a solution.

Free of charge

Handling your complaint is free of charge, including the help of the complaints officer.
