Costs and reimbursements

What you pay yourself

You pay your deductible (eigen risico) yourself and, if your health insurer has no contract with us, a one-off €250. These are two different things. Below you can read how they work.

Two different things

  • For everyone

    Deductible (eigen risico)

    The part of your care costs that you pay yourself each year. In 2026, the compulsory deductible is €385. It also applies if your insurer has a contract with us, and we cannot waive it.
  • Only without a contract

    Personal contribution

    A one-off €250 for the entire care pathway, also if we submit claims directly to your health insurer (payment agreement). We then waive most of the part that your insurer does not reimburse: the goodwill scheme (coulanceregeling).

The deductible in five rules

The deductible is the part of your care costs that you pay yourself each year. It also applies to ADHD care, whether or not your insurer has a contract with us.
  1. Everyone aged 18 and over has a compulsory deductible

    The government sets the amount each year. In 2026 it is €385. If you have also chosen a voluntary deductible, you can see this on your policy or in your health insurer's app.
  2. Already used this year? Then you only pay the remainder

    If you have already used part or all of your deductible this year, only the part that is still outstanding is charged.
  3. The deductible applies per calendar year

    A care pathway takes four to six months on average. If it continues into a new year, the deductible applies again to the care in that year.
  4. You never pay it twice

    If your health insurer deducts the deductible from the reimbursement, you pay that amount to us. You do not also pay it again to your insurer.
  5. We cannot waive the deductible

    This is not permitted by law. It is also separate from the goodwill scheme.

Why a personal contribution?

If your health insurer has no contract with us, you pay a one-off €250 for the entire care pathway. We waive most of the part that your insurer does not reimburse.

Without a contract, many policies reimburse about 60% of the rate. Normally you would have to pay the difference yourself. We waive most of that unreimbursed part through our goodwill scheme (coulanceregeling).

To make this possible, we ask for a one-off personal contribution of €250 for the entire care pathway. It is not a monthly contribution, and you do not pay it per appointment.

Conditions of the goodwill scheme

The goodwill scheme applies if you:
  • submit invoices to your health insurer on time;
  • always send us the complete reimbursement statement;
  • pay received reimbursements, your deductible and the personal contribution on to us on time;
  • cooperate with prior authorisation, if your health insurer asks for it.

If the conditions are not met

In that case the goodwill scheme may lapse and the unreimbursed part will still be at your expense.
How claims work

Medicines

You collect medicines from your pharmacy. These costs fall outside our care pathway and usually count towards your deductible. Depending on the medicine, a statutory personal contribution of up to €250 per year may apply. You pay this at the pharmacy, not to us.
