How to register

With a referral letter to your first appointment. For diagnostics and treatment at ADHD Medisch Centrum, you need a referral letter from your GP (general practitioner) or medical specialist.

Step by step

Four steps to your assessment.

Choose a step to see what happens, whose turn it is and what you can do yourself.

Step 1 of 4 · Your turn

You discuss your symptoms with your GP

Do you recognise symptoms such as concentration problems, impulsivity or restlessness? Make an appointment with your GP (general practitioner) and discuss what you are experiencing. Still unsure? The self-test can help you get started.

Tip: write down beforehand in which situations your symptoms affect you. That makes the conversation easier.

How long you wait

The waiting time is the number of days between the referral and your first appointment, and depends on your health insurer. With Achmea and ONVZ you wait 30 days, with all other health insurers 90 days. For VGZ, we are not accepting new patients up to and including 31 December 2026. After the diagnosis, your treatment starts straight away. Want to be seen sooner? Ask about the reserve list.
